What Causes Fatigue And Loss Of Appetite While On Prozac?

I was on prozac 40 mg for 7 days; i started feeling very lethargic with no appetite after 4 days. My dr had me to discontinue taking it. My last dose was yesterday at 8am. I still feel the same. How long will this take to get out of my system? Im very tired, have no appetite, my heart rate is lower than normal, im achy-i just feel unwell. I will visit an urgent care if necessary but if it s just part of the withdrawl, ill ride it out. Thanks.

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Of antidepressant medications, Prozac has one of the longest half-lives and can take weeks to fully get out of your system. That being said, any effect from the medication should wear off in a few days. If you have any additional symptoms like fever/rash/trouble swallowing or breathing, you should be evaluated urgently.
