What Causes Fatigue With Sudden Weight Gain And Unexplained Bruising On Body?

41, Female, Generally very good health. Experiencing fatigue, sudden weight gain (no increase in food intake or diet), unexplained bruising on arms, legs, abdomen, and back of hands (anywhere between size of a dime to 2-3 inches); FNA just done for thyroid nodules .7cm (left) and 1.8cm (right) solid masses. Also been running intermittent low grade fevers, occassional bright red ring around outer edge of lips only (as if severly wind chapped). Very low vitamin D levels (was a 10, after 2 years of vitamin D prescriptions I have it up to 32). Can nodules cause this or would it be suspicious for cancer? I am worried about the FNA results. Swollen lymph nodes (confirmed by touch and ultrasound) along left collarbone and left neck.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Hi
I have gone through your question.

Fatigue, weight gain, bruising(clotting problems) are symptoms of hypothyroidism. You didn't explain very well if you have done a sub-total thyroidectomi and if you take any treatement after surgery but i suggets to do the thyroid tests(TSH,freeT3 ,free T4) to understand the actual thyroid function and to be patient until the FNA results to find the answers you want.
Swollen lymph nodes are important elements to take in consideration for the definitive diagnose.
Anyway my advice is to talk with your treating doctor for the thyroidcondition and the follow-up for the Vit D level.
Hope i have answered to your question.
