What Causes Feeling Disoriented, Excessive Sweating And Lack Of Memory?

I have been having for the last 10 years a monthly stage of sweating, chills, a little confusion, memory issues (momentary); no pain. No one seems to be able to see what s going on. Every month around this time, this effect occurs. I am looking for suggestions.

Hello!

Welcome on Healthcaremagic!

Your symptoms could be related to different possible issues : a metabolic disorder like thyroid dysfunction, chronic inflammation or anxiety. A hormonal imbalance, can not be excluded either, especially considering the fact that your symptoms repeat each month at the same time. I would exclude any neurological disorders possible related to this clinical situation.
Coming to this point, I would recommend consulting with your doctor for some tests: complete blood count for anemia, blood electrolytes, PCR for inflammation, thyroid hormone levels for electrolyte imbalances, sex hormone levels, fasting glucose.
If all these tests result normal, it would mean that nothing serious is going on.
Hope you will find this answer helpful!

Best wishes, Dr. Aida
