What Causes Feeling Of Struck In One Spot After Eating Beans?

My husband has a concern about his stomach.. Anytime he eats beans, any kind of bean, it messes with his stomach.. it dont make him have to use the bathroom or anything like that .. its like its not digesting in his stomach.. he said it feels like they are just stuck in one spot.. what could this be?
