What Causes Fever After A Skin Infection?
My six year old son got scalded 6 days ago, after a nite in hospital, we returened bk to be told he may need skin graph, he has been resting and seems in good form considering the wounds althow tonite he has a temperature, does that mean an infection has set in, shud i be alarmed, many thanks

Onset of fever in patient of burns can be alarming.
It can denote the onset of an infection or it can also occur due to generalised body reaction.
Your child surely needs further assessment by a doctor in the form of blood investigations so as to rule out any infection.
