What Causes Fever After A Stomach Infection?

Hi, I'm 23 and 5'4'' and I got a stomach bug about 3 days ago. I feel much better however I still have the gurgly stomach everytime I eat. But tonight after dinner I felt really warm and took my temp and it was 99.6. Is it normal to get a fever when your stomach bug has just about run its course?

HI
Well come to HCM
Thank for choosing HCM, given symptoms and the body temperature are not obvious sign of infection but it seems to be due to nonspecific, it is the sound of peristalsis and it may be due to hunger, chronic condition with associated symptoms of passing mucus in stool cramps may be due to Giardiasis.
At the most if this is being viral infection suspected then you need not to be worry about this because soon it will come around but history is not suggestive of this. stop worrying the symptoms will come on its own.
hope this information helps.
