What Causes Fever After Hitting Head On Metal Piece?
my son hit his head on the metal part of a table an he has a pretty good side bump. He now has a fever of 100.2. He walks fine, puples seem fine, he is not confused. Is it common to get a fever after hitting your head? My son will be 3 in September.

The swelling and fever can be secondary to the trauma or the impact. Nothing to be panic, you can take a paracetamol for the fever(if you are not allergic).
