What Causes Fever And Body Pain?
My son has had fever, head ache, back ache, neck ache, nausea and diarrhea for 5 days. WBC normal during doctors visit 2 days ago. Doctor said it was just a virus, but he is not improving. 5 days seems like a long time to have a fever. Should I seek another doctor's opinion?

In regard to your query I would like to whether you have got the blood tests done or not.If there is evening rise in temperature it could be typhoid you better get the tests done once again coz it will be ruled out usually after 5-7 days.if it us viral it will lasts fir 6-9 days and whatever the treatment you are receiving is for symptomatic relief it is common to have body pains nothing to worry about have plenty if fluids and take with easily digestable foods.Just coz u have mentioned diarrhea and vomitings I suspect typhoid.Hope this is informative
