What Causes Fever And Cough To A 9 Year Old?
my 9 year old has low grade fevers during the day and a night it goes up a degree-she also has a cough-sometimes its dry and wet even sounds like a bark-i took her to the er sunday-its been 4 days and she's not getting better-the er said she had a virus-but i feel there is something else wrong-what do you think

It seems that your child might be having bacterial infection as it is there since 4-5 days.
He might require one antibiotic medicine course.
Consult your doctor and go for complete blood checking to know the nature of infection.
Give him light diet and plenty of water.
