What Causes Fever, Armpit Soreness With A Headache?

My six year old daughter has 102 temp. and is complaining of her armpit being very sore. I am aware of lymph nodes and their role to fight infection. She does not have any other symptoms besides fever, sore armpit, and headache. Should I be overly concerned about the sore armpit?

Hi There

I understand your concern about your child.

I would like to tell you that sore armpits can be because of an injury near arms or upper chest, please look for that. But many more conditions are associated with these symptoms. It's better to take her to the Pediatrician and get her evaluated in proper way.
