What Causes Fever, Low Appetite And Dizziness?

My son,age 28 has low grade fever intermittently, reduced appetite, gets dizzy occasionally, lethargy, intermittent headache or malaise, and stomach issues. Symptoms for 8 days, but he says stomach problems for over a month! Took to urgent care...protein in urine. No blood work done... they said because he leaves tomorrow to return to another state. No sore throat. What do you think? I know he needs to get in with his primary. Who knows how long that ll take.
