Hello and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The most likely diagnosis is a harmless viral illness. This usually takes several day to resolve. However, if the fever persists beyond 3 days, I recommend consulting with your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Eric Goldstein
