What Causes Fibromyalgia With Depression While On Fluoxetine?

I have fibromyalgia with depression. I have been on fluoxetine 40mg, for 5 weeks after being on paroxetine for 10 years. But my depression was worse. I have also been on hydrocodone for pain for 10 years. I now have nervousness and anxiety like I haven t had before. Difficult to sleep, so I have tried to cut back on the pain meds, but I am dealing with more pain. I am 61 years old, 152lbs. Your thoughts? Kathy

Consult a neurologist and get evaluated. The worsening of symptoms may be due to depression. You can consult your psychiatrist and make necessary adjustments on drugs.
