What Causes Fits After Head Injury?

hi recently my father met an accident at that time he fall down head injury city scan tell blood clot is there in the left side of the head dopreviously doctor told to me with medicines we will remove after one hour he told immediate surjery at accident time fits came after half an hour vomitting ,motions .what was the problem?

Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns. This is the case of seizures after traumatic brain injury. A number of TBI patients experience seizures. They are related to brain damage itself or increased cerebral pressure. If your father's condition got worse in a short period of time, there was a mass (probably hemorrhage) expanding and pressing towards the brain and surgery is the only option if this happens: your father will need long term anti seizure treatment depending on characteristics of the seizure, and periodic follow up with clinical and imaging evaluation.
