Hello Doctor, last Thursday i drunk alot of alcohol, which at the next day led me to feel sick when i went to the hospital to check Malaria , i was found to have 3 malaria virus, but unfortunately i developed flue and dry cough unto which i was given metalkelfin for malaria, and ampliclox for coughing , but my healthy has been worse since i feel some headache and having diarrhea am worryin what might be the problem.

It seems that you have developed chest infection/ chronic upper respiratory tract infection. I would suggest you to do warm saline gargles. You shoukd take cough expectorants. You should take antibiotic Levofloxacin in combination with antiallergic medication. Continue with your antimalarial drugs as well. Visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. You should get chest X-ray done and start treatment after proper diagnosis have been made. Avoid oily and sharp food. Drink plenty of fluids.
