What Causes Fluctuations In The Body Temperature And Urinary Incontinence?

Had fever chills and burning when going. Lasted about 12 hours. Could not control my urine at first. It just flowed out. Do you think that I may have passed a small stone?? Feel fine now and am back to normal.. I am going to be 82 in a few weeks.

Hi,

I understand your concern.

Fever chills with burning sensation while urinating are indicating urinary tract infection. Passing small stone could be another possibility especially if it is also complicated with UTI or kidney infection (enlarged kidney).

I advise to run urine analysis and abdominal ultrasound to check it further with urologist too.
Meanwhile, you should:
- drink plenty of fluids
- take cranberry supplement
- avoid salty/oily/processed foods

Wish fast recovery.
