Hi,I am Dr. Andrew Rynne (Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Fluctuations In The Body Temperature While Having Primary Hyperhidrosis?
My perceived temperature swings back and forth. When I am walking and its very cold, I will break into a sweat.At night heat wakes me up, and I am well past menopause.It is 24/7, and beyond irritating.I spend much of the day under a heated blanket, but 3-4 times per hour, I am suddenly boiling, throwing off the blanket.The cycle repeats. I have been diagnosed with primary hyperhidrosis.
As per your history hyperhidrosis is not a disease of itself it is a symptom relates to many pathological disorders. So your main problem has a reason so if that reason is identified then your problem will be solved.
Investigations-;
1) Check your body temperature every 6 hours and record it upto 72 hours
2) Full blood count with differential and a Paracheck
3) Do kidney function test and fasting blood sugar and ESR, Do RF/ASO test
