What Causes Fluid Retention In The Legs Post BP Medication Withdrawal?

both my legs are very swollen and retaining fluid in the calf, ankle and foot. I have done nothing different except stopped my blood pressure 25 HCTZ meds in the last few weeks do to no insurance and I am very stressed the last few days due to the fact that my dad , who lives out of state, is dying and I need to get out to see him asap. I have definitely noticed a worsen as the day has gone on??? What can I do to fix this please? YYYY@YYYY

Swelling in foot and calf is due to fluid retention in them.
This has happened due to stopping of anti-hypertensive medications.
