Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
In the last 4 weeks I find that a bubbly Silvia is in the back of my mouth. I have to stop talking and swallow.I had a cold- and still at times throughout the day sound horse. I drink plenty of water throughout the day at work. I do however drink 6 beers and smoke about 6 cigarettes a day. Should I be worried about the Silvia - it seems to be getting worse
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, most common causes of this would be some lesion in oral cavity or may be due to hyperacidity, you can try mouth gargle and PPI (Proton pump inhibitor) the best option would be "Povidone iodine gargle" and Tab Omeprazole 40 mg Domperidone 30 mg" once in day, take care and have a nice day (Smoking and alcohol need to be avoided )
