Hi,

I am sorry for the food poisoning episode you went through.

Indeed food poisoning would be over in a few days. However, unfortunately sometimes, it happens that complications occur as in your case.

Your leg pain are due to dehydration caused by loss of fluids (diarrhea or vomiting) you experienced during the acute episode.

Most probably you experienced bad diarrhea causing loss of electrolytes and fluids. The clinical result is weakness especially in legs.

Take oral rehydration salts. Magnesium supplements can help together with multivitamins.
Hope this helps.
