Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Seems like the symptoms this time are actually caused by a pinched nerve, since there is no swelling, pallor of the leg.
The nerve may be pinched anywhere during its pathway, so, a lumbosacral spine MRI and a nerve conduction study are necessary to achieve a correct diagnosis.Discuss with your Doctor about these issues.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
