What Causes Foul Smelling Of Stool?

I had a C section in March and since then my stools have foul smell. I have been suffering from Ulcerative colitis since 1998, but there is a change in colour and smell of the stool. Is it connected to C Section? I am 33 years old, 1.69m and 60kg.

Thank you

HI
Well come to HCM
Thank for asking
Your query being appreciated, bad odor stool could be due to infection and it may not be due to old history of c section or ulcerative colitis, most of the time it is the mix type of infection both the protozoa and bacteria involves together, if I would be doctor of this case then I would try to treat this case with Ofloxacine with Ornidazole twice in day for five days, in such case care needs to be taken for dehydration, have light diet, avoid heavy meal, oily fried food, else it is nothing to worry hope this information helps.
