What Causes Foul Smelling Vaginal Discharge?
I am 65. Last period 15 years ago. Have had 20 consecutive days of brown discharge, foul smell, menstrual like cramping, fullness in lower belly. Stopped using Estring in March. What type of testing should I be expecting from doctor. Blood test, Pap test, tissue sample, swab for infection? Seeing doctor soon and would like to be prepared.

Your doctor will likely consider an ultrasound to take a look particularly the lining of the uterus(endometrium) and may also consider a biopsy as well depending on the imaging findings.
In many persons, there is no dangerous cause, but they need to be ruled out.
