What Causes Frequent And Burning Urination?

I think I may have a UTI but I m not sure. I have a burning sensation when I pee but I don t have the constant urge to pee and being unable to... I also have lower back pain but my period just arrived so I m not sure if I should attribute both to that or something else.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to a urinary tract infection.

I suggest doing a urine test to confirm the diagnosis.

Meanwhile, I suggest using anti-inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen to relieve the symptoms.

If the diagnosis is confirmed, I suggest using a cycle of antibiotics such as Ciprofloxacin to treat the infection.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
