What Causes Frequent Bowel Movements?

I have had a problem for 2 days now where as my stomach isnt painful it just feels unusual. I am having to go to the toilet every 5 mins to poo, it is not coming out as diarrea but sometimes i feel as if i have to go but nothing comes out and sometimes it does come out, any ideas?
