What Causes Frequent Cold?

Hi,
My son is around 4 years old. He is getting cold very frequently from last 1 yr with thick yellow green nasal discharge. while sleeping he breaths from mouth. I tried couple of medicines like wikoryl, relent, levocet . But no improvement. Please give suggestions.

Hi...Thank you for consulting in Health Care magic. I think your kid might be having mild intermittent or moderate to severe persistent allergic rhinitis. I need more information from history point of view. It could also be seasonal rhinitis. Meanwhile you can use a 6 weeks course of Levocetrizine and Monteleukast which might help in symptomatic improvement. After thorough history and physical examination he might benefit with intranasal steroids. Hope my answer was helpful for you. I am happy to help any time.
