What Causes Frequent Hard Bowel Movements?

Hi. I experience frequent, solid bowel movements on a daily basis (3-5 times daily) I have been diagnosed with minor acid reflux and take 40mg. of omeprozol, each morning......I also burp frequently and do experience gas/flatulation fairly frequently.......do these symptoms represent any cause for concern?

Hi..

Welcome to healthcare magic.

As you mentioned you have problem of acid reflux..
That may lead to abdominal bloting problem..

Take a proton pump inhibitor drugs and do some diet modifications like..
Avoid fatty foods, junk foods, tea,coffee, chocolate, spicy food...

Eat small amount of meal and chew properly..
Drink more water..
Avoid lying down immeadiate after eating.

Elevate your head during sleeping..
Consult a gastroenterologist for further treatment.
