What Causes Frequent Stomach Pain?

Hi I'm a 20 year old male and I have been having pains in my stomach for maybe two weeks now its at the top of my stomach and the pain is pretty bad its hurts all day mostly but twards the night it gets worse until/ I fall asleep I never had problems with my stomach before and I don't know what it could be?

Hello,

The given abdomen symptoms could be due to dyspepsia and it is mostly associated with acid peptic disease, if the pain is in upper quadrant, else abdomen pain is much challenging for physician and most of the time numbers of investigations being asked for right diagnosis.

I would suggest you to try tablet Rabiprazole once in day and tablet Paracetamol with Dicyclomine three times in day.

If the symptoms remain as it is, then further work up is necessary, and then it could be biliary disease or colic, intestinal infection, and other GI pathologies.
