What Causes Frequent Urination And Dripping At Night?
Hi I am a 38 year old male. I have experienced excessive urinating at night followed by lots of dripping, as if there isn t enough pressure to release all the urine. It keeps me out of sleep. Sometimes I d go and then 5 minutes later I d need to go again. I also experienced excessive thirst, this has almost surpassed. My urine and blood has been tested as well as my prostate. My sugar levels are fine, cholestrol slightly raised, 5.3 and my prostate s fine. I have had an antibiotic which has not helped. What could be causing this?
* As per my clinical experience, the frequent urination with a thirst can indicate underlying disorder with the Antidiuretic hormone levels and other hypothalamus-pituitary axis related conditions which can indirectly act upon the micturition centers.
* After the thorough urology panel has evaluated out the local cause of kidney, ureter, bladder, and prostate; second panel work up with the expert neurologist come into action in terms of hormone levels, MRI brain, spine and other to find out the cause.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
