I being a surgeon, we encounter so many such cases day in and day out. I read your question completely and have understood it well enough.. I can say with certainty that, you are suffering from what is known as Pneumaturia. I will analyze all your points.. 1. Male with itching and increased frequency of micturation. This goes in favor of urinary tract infection, Uti.. 2. Are you sure that you passed gas or flatus through Urethra at the end of micturation..? Because this is not a simple thing. 3. I m not trying to scare you, but here I m telling honestly on what it is. It s abnormal to pass gas through Urethra. 4. Various causes include.. A. Diseases like Crohns.. B. Iatrogenic, in case you ever have had any surgeries in the past. C. Malignancy, involving bladder, rectum etc. D. Radiation.. 5. Basically what happens is, there is abnormal connection between colon and bladder. Gas from colon goes to bladder, and eventually comes out through Urethra.. 6. Suggest you the following investigations to confirm this and also to plan treatment.. A. Cystoscopy B. Barium enema.. We can see later how to go about..
