What Causes Frequent Urination Even After Medication?
I am a 36 year old male. I have a constant urge to urinate. Took Ciproxin 50omg twice a day for a week. Saw a urologist who gave me a DRE and said that my prostate was normal and i didnt seem to have a UTI. He prescribed Cardura for 2 weeks and a bladder ultrasound for residual urine. I had the ultrasound today. Residual volume of urine was 60mL. My symptoms have not improved with any of the medications and the urge to pee remains there.
Hi, Mainly due to urinary tract infection and cystitites patient with young age presrents with frequency of micturation, with it the possibility of the diabetes millitus and insipidus can should be ruled out, I ussualy advice some blood test like blood glucose level,CBC, you also need urine routine and culture and sensitivity, If UTI is Present prescribing antibiotic seeing reports is helpfull, You will have to undergo ct scan abdomen pelvis as sometimes radiolucent stones are missed in other investigatiins, consult your treating doctor, and get reports done, Hope this information
