Im a 26 year old male, and suddenly today I have had minor discomfort in my lower left and right abdominal area (more to the side and in my back now), and started urinating every 20 minutes or so (ive been drinking more fluids). It doesn't hurt to urinate and I don't have a fever, is there cause for concern?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
The following causes should be ruled out
- diabetes
- prostate enlargement
- overactive bladder
- urinary tract infection
- diuretic therapy
- anxiety, etc.
According to cause specific treatment should be given. If needed serum blood sugar estimation, USG pelvis, urine routine microscopic examination, etc. investigation should be done. Take care and consult urologist for examination.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami
