What Causes Frequent Urination?

Lately I have been peeing quite frequently with maybe half a small cup of urine coming out. No pain. No burning. My doctor thought it was an infection and gave me an antibiotic but no improvement. Ultrasound revealed nothing abnormal with bladder or prostate. I am a 60 year old active male.
