What Causes Fullness In Stomach While Taking Medication For Dyspepsia?
Hi I am constantly having problems with my stomach. I have medication for dyspepsia however more often than not my stomack can still feel v full. Or if I have eaten it can feel as if there is a gaping hole it can also feel as if it s depressed ( I realise this sounds daft) but it does I can also feel queasy pls advise.
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted your history of constant problems with stomach, have medication for dyspepsia, still the stomach feels full. Feeling like a gaping hole or depressed and squishy. The commonest problems of this nature should be tackled as follows: - Clinical evaluation and examination by a Doctor and preferably by a Gastroenterologist. - Investigations of stool, blood and urine. Ultrasonography to rule out gall bladder stones. X-ray of the abdomen in standing position. Therapeutic trial with a course of an antibiotic, metronidazole. Long term course of probiotic and multivitamins. Avoid all the foods and beverages that cause these problems. Control of stress and/or anxiety can help you a lot.
