What Causes Gas And Urges For Bowel Movements?

I ate some bread a few days ago, and after eating half I saw tiny spots of mold on it and threw the rest away. The last 2 days I have felt the need to take a shit many times but then I have only had lots of gases coming out and only tiny amounts of yellowy-white slime (feces?).

Is this temporary or should I visit a doctor?

Hello,

Intestine infection from possible parasite ingestion via contaminated bread.

Usually, self-limiting within 48 hours, if symptoms persist beyond that period or worsen in between need medical aid.

Otherwise, drink more liquids and maintain hydration at your best. Consume easily digestible foodstuffs as organic fresh fruits and so forth.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel,
General Surgeon
