What Causes Gastritis And Weight Loss After Taking Methimazole For Hyperthyroid?

I have hyperthyroid. THe medicine, Methimazole ( 5 mg), cause me stomach problem (acidity and gastritis) so I stop to take it . But I am losing a lot of weigth, (20 pounds) . Do you know another kind of treatment for this problem instead of medicine? Maybe natural medicine, therapy, or acupuncture .Tks

As you have hyperthyroid and you are on methimazole. You losing weight because of this hyperthyroid. There are medicine available in ayurvedic like ashwagandha , shatavari , guggulu etc. For this you have to consult a good ayurvedic doctor.
There also treatment of hypothyroidism available in acupuncture.
