hi just got results back from my 19month olds audiology assessment and just wanted to know what some of the technical stuff mean, it says detected appearance of dull eardrum in both ears, responses were not immediate sharper to the left, revealed normal functional hearing. he also told me while we were the, he has glue ears, and with my history of grommets, sinus problems and tonsillectomy he recommends i take him to a specialist. thanks in advance
Nothing to worry. Pharyngo-tonsillitis usually associated with Eustachian tube dysfunction leading to repeated ear infection even glue ear. After tonsillectectomy , u need treatment of pharyngitis ,eustatian tube dysfunction .
