What Causes Great Pain And Snapping Sound In The Joints?

I am trying to find a doctor to treat my health issues that doesn t cost so much that I have to sell my house. I have lyme disease and Epstein barr virus. I am starting to have great pain and snapping sounds in my joints, maybe arthritis? My testing lab was IGenx in California...is this a trust worthy testing lab? I have had symptoms for 6 years now and was bitten by a tick. I live in Pennsylvania. Thanks, Annette Cleary

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It can be an early sign of arthritis. We have to rule out other possibilities like ligament or tendon injury. Consult an orthopaedician and plan for an MRI scan.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
