What Causes Green Bowel Movement In An Infant While On Nan Optipro?

Hi! My baby is taking up nan optipro hw 1 since she was 4 months old. But i started noticing that his poop turned avocado green and have a very stinky odor since then. She is 7 months old right now. I m thinking what would be the cause of such poop?. And i m also thinking of changing her milk back to enfamil. What can you say about it? Thank you!

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Proper assessment of child for weight gain is needed with current weight and previous weight records. Since, baby is 7 months old, proper home made culturally accepted complimentary food is needed with breast feeding. Home made food will be better than any ready made commercially available formula with breast feeding.

Visit your pediatrician for proper assessment and dietary advise.
