What Causes Green Stool With Dark Lumps And Also Blood In The Stools ?

Hi there, I have been feeling pretty sick now for maybe 3 months on and off. I have had green stool with harder darker (almost black) lumps in. I went to the dr and they gave me omeprazole to use for a month which I am using. I am feeling better but I am still getting green stool with dark lumps in. I have read that this can be blood in my stool. I am concerned as it has been going on for quite sometime now and I still feel sick. Sometimes it is worse than other times and sometimes my stool is more normal. Yesterday I have vegetables and it seems that the carrot has not been digested properly as whilst checking, I found orange lumps in my stool this morning.

Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood your concerns.
Green stools with harder darker lumps indicate that there may be an intestinal infection and thus needs the following as the problem is going on for a long time:
Tests of stool for three consecutive days.
Colonoscopy appointment to be take.
Contrast enhanced CT scan of the abdomen.
Clinical evaluation preferably by a General Surgeon or a Gastroenterologist.
Trial of an antibiotic active against intestinal infection and other treatment as suggested by the investigations.
If the occult blood in stool is positive then you may need upper GI Endoscopy also.
