What Causes Gurgling In Stomach Post A Stomach Flu?

i had the stomach flu 6 days ago and my stomach is still feeling sick and gurgling. I vomitted 5 times in 12 hours but i dont feel like i m improving very quickly. I stripped my stomach lining 5 months ago due to too many ibuprofens during a nasty episode of tonsillitis. Does this make my stomach more fragile?

Hello,
Yes, you are suffering from severe gastritis or even may be peptic ulcer disease. History of frequent ibuprofen consumption in large dose make inner layer of stomach fragile to develop ulcer or inflammation (redness and swelling). Frequent vomiting require treatment to prevent dehydration.
Support of acidity medication is essential part of treatment.
