What Causes Hair Loss And Hysterectomy After Thyroidectomy ?

I was presribe Liothyronine for low t numbers 5mcg times2 I have had partial thyroidectomy over 12 years ago I have experience thinning of my hair,loss of eyebrows no hair on legs,also a patrial hysterectomy. will this med help on all counts,Does this mean I have underactive thyroid

If you have undergone thyroidectomy, and you have hypothyroidism, T3 can very well be taken. But you have not mentioned your thyroid function test. Levothyroxine supplementation once daily dosing is the most easy way of managing it. Why can't you consult your physician and ask for levothyroxine than liothyronine which is perhaps the most prescribed, proved and convenient way of managing hypothyroidism
