What Causes Hard Bump On Right Collar Bone?

My husband just realized he has a hard bump on his right collar bone, midway across, the size of a quarter. It does not hurt, it s not red and it doesn t move. He hasn t fractured his collar bone. He is almost 64 yrs old and healthy. What could this be?

It can be a bony growth or exostosis. It needs x ray to confirm the diagnosis. It is not very serious issue but it is better that you do your x ray as soon as possible.
