What Causes Hard Heart Beats In A Child?
My 5-yr-old daughter complained of her heart beating hard and fast while not doing any activity. A few minutes later, her heart rate was about 85 bpm. I listened to her heart and it occasionally had an irregular rhythm (as much as I could tell). Should I be concerned.

thanks for your question. you should have your daughters symptoms checked out by a cardiologist who will likely arrange an ECG and possibly a 24 hour tape SMC maybe an echocardiogram. if may turn out to be nothing but always better to be sure.
