What Causes Hard Lump Inside The Lip Of Vagina?

My daughter who is 24 just called me and said she found a hard lump on the inside lip of her vagina and said it is hard and about the size of a tic-tac. Any idea s? She said she is on her period and she just noticed her today.. She has an apt with a doctor to have it checked on Friday

Vaginal lumps can be due to cysts, ingrown hair, vaginal skin tags, warts, herpes, cancer, etc. She should get STD tests done, these are screening tests to help patient get evaluated & get treated at the earliest. If sexually active, she should avoid unprotected sex & take care of her hygiene. In the meantime she should take calcium & protein rich diet along with multivitamin supplements. Take care.
