What Causes Hard Painful Lump On The Right Side Of My Labia Minora?
Overnight I have just discovered on the right side of my labia minora is a hard painful lump. it is smaller than a marble, and does not hurt when I use the restroom, but feels raw when I touch it. I thought it might be a pimple or something but there was no head of it and nothing came out. I am not sexually active and do not masturbate either...What is it?
Hello, I have gone through the query and understood your concern. The most common cause is either a sebaceous cyst or the Bartholin's cyst. Tenderness or pain while touching is caused by the stretching of the sensitive skin, local infection leading to an abscess formation in which case there is pain and redness and systemic symptoms like fever. Management depends on the source of origin. Please do not stress, the condition is treatable. See a gynecologist for further suggestions and treatment. Please maintain proper genital hygiene. Take care.
