What Causes Hard Red Pieces In The Stool?

I am a 20yr old 6 ft female with type 2 diabetes. In the past 2 days I passed in my stools 2 jolly rancher size hard slightly red pieces. The rest of the stool was grainy like diarrhea. what could those red things be? I often feel as though my stomach and navel area has hard knots.I am concerned that those red solids are something bad. Any helpful information will be appreciated.
