Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Three years ago i felt something wrong with my thigh. I felt my right one was normal but my left felt like it had a piece of something in between my skin and muscles. I went to get it check and the doctor ran a pen on my right which felt perfectly fine but when she ran it on my left it was so much softer i barely felt it. I did an MRI and nothing was wrong. So i took vitamins but was okay and every now and then i feel something but not that strong. Now its really bothering me. My left thigh is harder n its like bruised. Does anyone know whats wrong with it? Should i go to the doctor again to check it out? Im a female 16 years old
Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that your left thigh is not feeling normal .It may be due to pressure on some of sensory nerve such lateral cutaneous nerve of thigh, a condition called meralgia parenthesia. Neurotropic agents such as Mecobalamin are useful in recovery. VitaminB and C are helpful in recovery. Analgesic such as ibuprofen can be of use in pain relief. It is advisable to go to Doctor for check up.You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it. I do hope that you have found something helpful. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries. Wishing you good health. Take care.
