What Causes Hardness In Calf And Strain Behind Back Of Knee?
A month or so my right calf kind of hardened and strain behind back of knee, like a pulling, what is it? I have been putting a water and aspirin solution and sometimes muscle ointment.helps back kind of sticking around. It seems like it wants to get bette, what s wrong? Thank you Ronnie
As the history is too brief to comment with the diagnosis but still what I suspect it to be ligament injury in the knee leading to calf muscle spasm and over contracted in a way it appears harder.
I will advise for a knee MRI. as this is really going to play a key role to understand the knee soft tissue position.
Use knee brace, do hot water fermentation for the knee and also the calf muscles. post this do strengthening exercises for the knee muscles and the leg muscles.
Also, try doing balance board training which has found to be very effective in the majority of the cases.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
