Pediatrician, Pulmonology 's  Response
Hello,

When the symptoms have been so long-standing and persistent and related to the gastrointestinal tract. If I were his paediatrician, I would recommend going ahead with testing for inflammatory bowel disease.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
